Overview
Spot On Civil was engaged to deliver critical civil works as part of the Swan Hill Art Gallery redevelopment, installing a 1000 kVA kiosk to support the facility’s upgraded electrical infrastructure. Working alongside Swan Hill Rural City Council (SHRCC) and Keystone Building Group and Powercor, we ensured the works were delivered safely, on time, and to Victorian Electricity Distribution Network (VEDN) standards.
Scope of Works
- Installation of a reinforced kiosk foundation using C3 crushed rock blended with 3% cement whilst adhering to strict environmental standards.
- Earthing works completed to VEDN specifications and audited accordingly
- Supply and installation of both Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) conduits
- Hauling and installation of HV and LV cables
- Completion of all cable hauling audits for compliance
- Backfilling and compaction of the roadway to restore structural integrity
- Final site reinstatement, including the construction of a crushed rock driveway
Outcome
The project was delivered to exacting standards, supporting the successful redevelopment of a major Swan Hill cultural asset. Our involvement showcased Spot On Civil’s capability to manage complex utility and civil works for councils and contractors, leveraging our hydro excavation expertise and local knowledge to minimise disruption and meet project deadlines.
